Garlic Butter Steak Bites with Creamy Parmesan Mashed Potatoes

For the Steak:
1½ lbs sirloin steak, cubed
2 tbsp olive oil
5 tbsp butter, divided
5 garlic cloves, minced
1 tsp garlic powder
Salt & black pepper
For the Mashed Potatoes:
2 lbs russet potatoes, peeled
4 tbsp butter
¾ cup heavy cream
¾ cup grated Parmesan cheese
½ cup shredded mozzarella cheese
Salt to taste
To Garnish:
Fresh parsley
Instructions: 👩‍🍳
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook potatoes until fork tender. Drain well.
Mash potatoes with butter, heavy cream, Parmesan, mozzarella, and salt until smooth and creamy.
Heat olive oil and 2 tablespoons butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Season steak bites with garlic powder, salt, and pepper, then sear until browned on all sides.
Reduce heat slightly and stir minced garlic into the skillet for about 30 seconds.
Add remaining butter and toss steak bites until coated in rich garlic butter.
Serve steak bites over creamy mashed potatoes and garnish with parsley.
