Ingredients
For the Sliders:
- 1 can (8 biscuits) refrigerated biscuit dough
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- ½ cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- ½ cup finely diced onion
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
For the Garlic Butter Topping:
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon dried parsley
Instructions
1. Preheat the oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. Cook the beef: In a skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef and onion for 6–8 minutes, until the beef reaches 160°F (71°C). Add garlic, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Cook for another 30 seconds, then drain excess grease.
3. Prepare the biscuits: Separate the biscuit dough and flatten each biscuit into a 4–5-inch circle.
4. Add the filling: Place a portion of cooked beef in the center of each biscuit. Top with cheddar and mozzarella cheese.
5. Seal the sliders: Fold the dough edges over the filling, pinch tightly to seal, and place seam-side down on the baking sheet.
6. Make garlic butter: Mix melted butter, garlic powder, and parsley. Brush over the biscuits.
7. Bake: Bake for 15–20 minutes, or until golden brown and the biscuit centers are fully cooked.
8. Serve: Brush with any remaining garlic butter, let rest for 3–5 minutes, and serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce.
Notes
- Extra cheesy: Add more cheddar or Monterey Jack for a richer filling.
- Avoid soggy biscuits: Drain the cooked beef thoroughly before stuffing.
- Variations: Substitute cooked shredded chicken or ground turkey for beef.
- Storage: Refrigerate leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3–4 days.
- Freezing: Freeze baked sliders for up to 2–3 months for best quality.
- Reheating: Warm in the oven at 350°F (175°C) until heated through to 165°F (74°C).
Serving Suggestion: Pair your Cheesy Biscuit Sliders with French fries, coleslaw, ranch dressing, garlic aioli, or BBQ sauce for a delicious meal!
