Sausage Dipped Pancakes

Ingredients
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 tbsp sugar
1 tsp baking powder
½ tsp baking soda
¼ tsp salt
1 cup buttermilk
1 large egg
2 tbsp melted butter
1 tsp vanilla
6 cooked breakfast sausage links
Oil or butter for cooking
Instructions
In a bowl, whisk the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
In another bowl, mix buttermilk, egg, melted butter, and vanilla.
Combine wet and dry ingredients until just mixed.
Heat a pan with a little oil or butter.
Dip each sausage link into the pancake batter and place on the hot pan.
Cook until golden brown on all sides.
Serve warm with syrup, honey, or spicy dipping sauce.
