Nun’s Puffs Recipe

Prep Time: 10 minutes
Cook Time: 20 minutes
Total Time: 30 minutes
Servings: 8-10

Ingredients:

1 cup all-purpose flour (sifted)
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1 teaspoon baking powder
Pinch of salt
2 large eggs (room temperature)
1/2 cup whole milk
4 tablespoons unsalted butter (melted)
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Powdered sugar (for dusting, optional)

Instructions:

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup.
In a medium bowl, whisk together the sifted flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
In a separate bowl, whisk the eggs and granulated sugar together until smooth and well-combined.
Add the melted butter, milk, and vanilla extract to the egg mixture. Stir to combine.
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring gently until just combined. The batter should be thick but not stiff.
Spoon the batter onto the prepared baking sheet, leaving about 2 inches between each puff.
Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the Nun’s Puffs are golden brown and puffed up.
Cool slightly and dust with powdered sugar, if desired.
Serve warm and enjoy the light, fluffy goodness of your homemade Nun’s Puffs!
Enjoy these delicate pastries as a sweet treat for breakfast, dessert, or as a delightful afternoon snack.
