Mayonnaise-Parmesan Chicken

Ingredients

4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 1.5 lbs)
½ to 1 cup mayonnaise
½ to 1 cup grated or shredded Parmesan cheese
1 teaspoon garlic powder
½ teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon black pepper
Optional:
1 teaspoon smoked paprika
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

Instructions

Preheat OvenPreheat oven to 375°F (190°C) or 400°F (200°C) for a crispier topping. Lightly grease a baking dish or line with parchment paper.
Prepare ChickenPat chicken breasts dry with paper towels. Season both sides lightly with salt and pepper.
Mix ToppingIn a small bowl, combine mayonnaise, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, black pepper, and any optional seasonings.
Coat ChickenPlace chicken in the baking dish. Spread the mayonnaise-Parmesan mixture evenly over the top of each breast.
BakeBake uncovered for 25–45 minutes, depending on thickness, until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
Rest & ServeLet rest for 5 minutes before serving. Enjoy hot.

Notes

For extra browning, broil for 2–3 minutes at the end.
Add breadcrumbs or panko for a crunchier topping if desired.
Pairs well with roasted vegetables, rice, or salad.
