Marinated Feta and Olive Salami Jar

Marinating Time: 30 minutes–24 hours
Serves: 6–8
📝 Ingredients
12 oz (340 g) cheese, cubed
(cheddar, provolone, mozzarella, Monterey Jack, or a mix)
4 oz (115 g) salami, sliced and quartered or rolled
¾ cup green olives, pitted (Castelvetrano or Spanish olives work great)
¼ cup extra-virgin olive oil
1 tbsp red wine vinegar or lemon juice
1 tsp dried Italian seasoning
½ tsp dried oregano
½ tsp garlic powder (or 1 small garlic clove, finely minced)
¼ tsp red chili flakes (optional)
Freshly ground black pepper, to taste
Salt, to taste (go light—cheese and olives are salty)
Optional add-ins: roasted red peppers, sun-dried tomatoes, fresh parsley
👩‍🍳 Instructions
Prepare the Cheese & Salami
Cut cheese into bite-size cubes. Slice or roll the salami into small pieces.
Make the Marinade
In a bowl or jar, whisk together olive oil, vinegar (or lemon juice), Italian seasoning, oregano, garlic, chili flakes, and black pepper.
Combine
Add cheese, salami, and green olives to a large bowl or airtight container.
Pour the marinade over everything and gently toss to coat.
Marinate
Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes (best flavor after 2–4 hours).
Stir once or twice if marinating longer.
Serve
Let stand at room temperature for 10 minutes before serving.
Garnish with fresh parsley if desired.
