Loaded Ground Beef and Potatoes Skillet

πŸ›’ Ingredients
3–4 medium potatoes (cut into small cubes)
250–300g ground beef
1 small onion (chopped)
2 cloves garlic (minced)
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
2 tbsp oil (for frying)
Salt & black pepper (to taste)
1 tsp paprika
1/2 tsp cumin (optional but πŸ”₯)
Ketchup or BBQ sauce (for topping)
Green onions (chopped, for garnish)
🍳 Instructions
1. Cook the potatoes
Heat oil in a pan (preferably cast iron).
Add diced potatoes.
Cook on medium heat 10–15 min until golden & crispy.
Remove and set aside.
2. Cook the beef
In the same pan, add ground beef.
Cook until browned.
Add onion + garlic β†’ cook 2–3 min.
Season with salt, pepper, paprika, and cumin.
3. Combine
Add the crispy potatoes back into the pan.
Mix everything well.
4. Add cheese
Sprinkle cheddar cheese on top.
Cover pan for 2–3 minutes until melted.
5. Finish
Drizzle ketchup or BBQ sauce.
Add chopped green onions.

Cut potatoes small β†’ they cook faster & crisp better
Don’t stir too much β†’ helps get crispy edges
You can add eggs on top for a breakfast version 🍳
