⅓ cup honey
4 cloves garlic, minced
3 tablespoons soy sauce
1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
1 tablespoon olive oil

½ teaspoon black pepper
1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (optional)
Lemon wedges for serving (optional)

Instructions

Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels and season both sides with salt and black pepper.
In a small bowl, whisk together the honey, minced garlic, soy sauce, and lemon juice until fully combined.
Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Place the salmon fillets in the skillet and cook for 4 to 5 minutes on the first side until golden brown.
Carefully flip the salmon and cook for another 3 to 4 minutes.
Reduce the heat to medium-low and pour the honey garlic glaze into the skillet.
Let the sauce simmer for 2 to 3 minutes, spooning the glaze over the salmon as it thickens.
Continue cooking until the salmon reaches an internal temperature of 145°F and the glaze becomes glossy and slightly sticky.
Remove from the heat and garnish with fresh parsley if desired.
Serve immediately with lemon wedges and your favorite side dishes.

Notes

For extra flavor, add 1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger to the glaze.
If using frozen salmon, thaw completely and pat dry before cooking.
Be careful not to overcook the salmon, as it can become dry.
