Chocolate Brownie Trifle recipe

Ingredients
For the Brownies
½ cup unsalted butter, melted
1 cup granulated sugar
2 large eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
⅓ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
½ cup all-purpose flour
¼ teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon baking powder
For the Layers
2 cups heavy whipping cream
¼ cup powdered sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 cups fresh strawberries, chopped
½ cup shredded chocolate, for garnish
Instructions
Prepare the Brownies
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a 9×9-inch baking pan.
In a large bowl, stir together the melted butter and sugar. Add the eggs and vanilla and mix until smooth.
In a separate bowl, combine the cocoa powder, flour, salt, and baking powder.
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring just until everything is combined.
Spread the brownie batter evenly into the prepared pan and bake for 20–25 minutes.
Let the brownies cool completely, then cut them into bite-sized cubes.
Make the Whipped Cream
Add the heavy whipping cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla to a mixing bowl.
Beat until the cream is fluffy and stiff peaks form.
Assemble the Trifle
Add half of the brownie cubes to the bottom of a large trifle dish. Top with half of the whipped cream, followed by half of the chopped strawberries.
Repeat the layers with the remaining brownies, whipped cream, and strawberries.
Finish with whipped cream on top, then garnish with shredded chocolate and a few fresh strawberry slices.
Chill until ready to serve and enjoy
