Chili Seasoning Recipe

Yield: About 6 tablespoons (enough for 2–3 chili batches)

Ingredients

2 tablespoons chili powder
1 tablespoon ground cumin
1 tablespoon smoked paprika
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1 teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon black pepper
¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper (adjust to taste)

Optional Add-Ins (For Extra Depth)

½ teaspoon cocoa powder
½ teaspoon brown sugar
½ teaspoon chipotle powder

Instructions

Measure all spices accurately.
Add everything to a small bowl.
Stir until fully combined and evenly blended.
Transfer to an airtight jar or spice container.
Shake before each use.

How to Use

Use 2–3 tablespoons per 1 pound of meat.
Add at the beginning of cooking for deeper flavor.
Taste and adjust salt or heat as needed.

Storage

Store in a sealed container in a cool, dry place for up to 6 months.
