Cajun Shrimp & Sausage Skillet

This Cajun shrimp and sausage skillet is smoky, juicy, and packed with bold Southern flavor. Tender shrimp, seared sausage, and sautéed peppers come together in one pan for an easy dinner that tastes like it came straight from a Louisiana kitchen.
🛒 Ingredients (Serves 4)
For the Skillet
1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
12 oz smoked sausage, sliced (Andouille or kielbasa)
1 tbsp olive oil
1 green bell pepper, chopped
1 small red bell pepper, chopped
1 medium onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
Seasoning
1 ½ tsp Cajun seasoning
½ tsp paprika
½ tsp black pepper
¼ tsp salt (adjust to taste)
½ tsp dried parsley
👩‍🍳 Instructions
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Add sliced sausage and cook 3–4 minutes until browned. Remove and set aside.
In the same skillet, add onion and bell peppers. Sauté 4–5 minutes until softened.
Stir in garlic and cook 30 seconds until fragrant.
Add shrimp to the skillet and season with Cajun seasoning, paprika, pepper, salt, and parsley.
Return sausage to the pan and toss everything together.
Cook 2–3 minutes per side, until shrimp are pink and fully cooked.
Remove from heat and serve immediately.
