Cajun Shrimp and Sausage Pasta

📝 Ingredients :
• 400 g shrimp, peeled and deveined
• 250 g smoked sausage, sliced
• 300 g spaghetti
• 1 red bell pepper, diced
• 1 green bell pepper, diced
• 1 small onion, diced
• 4 tbsp butter
• 2 tbsp olive oil
• 4 cloves garlic, minced
• 1 cup chicken broth
• ½ cup heavy cream
• 2 tbsp Cajun seasoning
• 1 tsp paprika
• ½ tsp black pepper
• ½ tsp chili flakes (optional)
• Salt to taste
• Chopped parsley (optional)
🍽️ How to Make It :
Cook the Pasta
Boil spaghetti in salted water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
Season the Shrimp
Season shrimp with Cajun seasoning, paprika, black pepper, and salt.
Cook the Shrimp
Heat olive oil with 1 tbsp butter. Cook shrimp until pink and slightly charred, then remove and set aside.
Cook the Sausage
In the same pan, brown sausage slices until golden and flavorful. Remove and set aside.
Build the Sauce
Melt remaining butter, then sauté garlic, onion, and bell peppers until soft. Add chicken broth and cream, simmer until slightly thickened.
Combine
Add cooked pasta, shrimp, and sausage back into the pan. Toss until everything is coated in the rich, creamy seafood sauce.
Serve
Serve hot with parsley on top and extra sauce spooned over.
