Prep Time: 10 minutes
Cook Time: 25–30 minutes
Total Time: 35–40 minutes
Servings: 8
Ingredients
2 lbs fully cooked smoked sausage or kielbasa
1 cup brown sugar
¼ cup butter, melted
2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
½ teaspoon garlic powder
½ teaspoon smoked paprika
¼ teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 375°F and lightly grease a baking dish.
Slice the sausage into ½-inch rounds and place in a large bowl.
Mix the brown sugar, melted butter, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, smoked paprika, and black pepper.
Pour the glaze over the sausage and toss until evenly coated.
Spread the sausage in an even layer in the prepared baking dish.
Bake for 25–30 minutes, stirring halfway through, until the glaze is bubbly, sticky, and slightly caramelized.
Let the sausage bites rest for about 5 minutes so the glaze can thicken.
Serve warm with toothpicks or your favorite side dishes.
Storage
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3–4 days. Reheat in the oven, microwave, or skillet until hot.
Optional Variations
Add red pepper flakes or cayenne for a spicy version.
Add 1–2 tablespoons maple syrup for extra sweetness.
Stir in a little barbecue sauce for a smoky BBQ flavor.
Use andouille sausage for a spicier bite.
